Charles Dye established Chuck Dye Tile in Kansas City in 1959. Among his projects at this time are a number of tile mosaics that decorate the Country Club Plaza. Brian and Steve, two of his sons, helped out from a young age.

In 1980, Brian and Steve formed Dye Brothers' Tile to expand upon the family business. Most of our projects at this time included subdivisions in Johnson County, such as Hallbrook, Deer Creek, and Mission Hills.

After having knee surgery in 1997, Steve decided to leave the business. Brian continued the business, known as Brian Dye Tile since that time. In recent years, the business has continued to grow as it serves the needs of the Kansas City metro area residents.

As the owner of Brian Dye Tile, I feel that it is extremely important to carry high ethical standards with me to every project. I treat each job as if it was my own home, even if that entails fixing problems that the homeowner does not notice at no extra cost. I love my job.
